Hammock’s Day

Today on Hammock’s Day, Cielo Hammocks presented to Senator Raúl Paz Alonzo and CANACINTRA’s President Jorge Charruf the project’s idea: Appellation of Origin for the Yucatecan hammock. Made with our unique technique which is part of our culture and legacy from our Mayan ancestors; just as how the Puebla’s Talavera or habanero chile are protected, it would be really important to protect our hammocks with the Appellation of Origin.

Congratulations to all our artisans in Yucatan, who keep our traditions alive with their magic!
